The Compliance Department is responsible for organizational compliance with applicable laws, rules regulations and contractual requirements for all lines of Monroe Plan businesses. The Compliance function is a company-wide service that ensures that Monroe Plan, its Board of Directors, employees and business partners conduct business in an ethical, professional, and legal manner.

 

How to report Fraud, Waste and Abuse?

Any reports of fraud, waste or abuse may remain anonymous.  All information received or discovered during the investigation will be treated as confidential, and the results of investigations will be discussed only with persons having a legitimate reason to receive the information. Federal Law and Monroe Plan policy prohibit any retaliation or retribution against persons who report suspected Fraud, Waste and Abuse.

HIPAA-Compliant Authorization Form

As a collaborative process between the New York State Office of Court Administration, representatives of the medical provider community in New York, and the bench and bar, designed to produce a standard official form that complies with the privacy requirements of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations, to be used to authorize the release of health information needed for litigation in New York State courts.
