Through Monroe Plan’s Holiday Families Program, our employees carry on a long tradition of supporting our members during the Holiday Season. This year, Monroe Plan employees purchased holiday gifts for 29 families including 12 adults and 62 children. In addition to the gifts purchased by employees, each family received a bag of toiletry items and a grocery gift card. Our care managers deliver these holiday packages to member families providing often, much needed, holiday joy! To support Holiday Families throughout the year, teams across the organization donate raffle items. Additional items are donated by our partners and by the organization. This past December, we raffled off 41 items and raised close to $2000 for the Holiday Families program!

Always looking to do more, Monroe Plan also collected 100’s of new and gently worn winter jackets from our employees, their families, and other local businesses. All coats were inventoried, photographed, and added to our new online coat reservation platform. Care managers can use the online coat reservation platform to reserve a specific coat for a member-in-need. We want to thank our employees for their generous spirits and for helping to keep our members warm, both on the inside and outside, this holiday season!
